Design thinking is a process for creative problem-solving.

This course provides practical training for leaders in any field to learn how to apply the design thinking process individually and with their teams to systematically build innovation into their problem-solving approaches. It is also useful for anyone looking to bring transformative change to their wellbeing or career, or to their chosen cause. Business leaders, environmentalists, activists, and wellness champions will find this course relevant.

Infused with guidance from mindfulness and behavioral science perspectives, this course provides a unique lens for how to adopt design thinking techniques to suit your life and work.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

 

Marilyn Cornelius supports leaders as a facilitator, coach, teacher, author and speaker. She is the founder of Alchemus Prime, an entity that functions as an integration engine. She integrates tools from behavioral sciences, design thinking, biomimicry, and meditation to tailor solutions for clients. Her work spans self-love, trauma release, empowerment, climate change resilience, indigenous wisdom, food and wellness, leadership, and mindful reflection.

Marilyn facilitates safe spaces for playfulness, deep alignment, and transformation through workshops and courses based on her books. She has taught design thinking for research design, wellness, climate change adaptation, feminist change management, and more. A life coach to leaders around the world, she brings a trauma-informed, behavioral approach.

Marilyn holds a PhD from Stanford University in climate change and behavioral sciences, with a background in management and design. She has received training in biomimicry and a range of meditation techniques. She has authored or co-authored 32 popular books.
